The Rocky Mountain School District wishes to share the following leadership staffing update for Nicholson Elementary School:
We are announcing the upcoming leadership changes at Nicholson Elementary School. Principal Margo Reinders has decided to step down from her role and will return to a classroom teaching position in the 2025-2026 school year. Margo has been an exceptional and relational leader at Nicholson for the past six years, and her presence will be greatly missed. We extend our best wishes to Margo as she returns to her passion for teaching children in the classroom.
We are pleased to announce that Blaine Broderick will take over as Principal of Nicholson Elementary School, effective August 1st. Blaine has served as Principal of Lady Grey Elementary School in Golden for the past nine years, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role. He is a reflective, student-centered leader who values the importance of community in fostering successful learning environments. Blaine is excited about the opportunities ahead at Nicholson and will be supported during the transition by Principal Reinders. The district will now focus on selecting the next principal for Lady Grey Elementary School in the coming weeks.
Congratulations to both Blaine and Margo on their news!
