The Rocky Mountain School District wishes to share that Kelsey Doolaar, Principal of Golden Secondary School, will be taking leave from her role effective November 15th. The district wishes Ms. Doolaar all the best as she embarks on the parenthood journey! In Ms. Doolaar’s absence, current Golden Secondary School Vice Principal Mike Archibald will be assuming the role of Acting Principal.
Mr. Archibald has been part of Team GSS for almost three decades and has been an active member in the Golden community, volunteering service with a number of organizations including the Fire Department. He has taught generations of students in Golden and is well known for his digital media and production leadership. Mr. Archibald is excited about this new opportunity.
We extend our congratulations to Mike and wish him every success in his new position.
